Micromax launches new canvas turbo 5 INCH full hd screen INR 19990

Micromax has unveiled its first smartphone with full-HD display, the Canvas Turbo is priced at 19990 INR. The device will be available in the markets by this weekend.

The Micromax Canvas Turbo sports a a 5 inch full-HD dsiplay with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Hugh Jackman promoted device runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor. Canvas turbo has a 2 GB of RAM coupled with a 16 GB of inbuilt storage.

The device features a 13 MP rear autofocus camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. Canvas Turbo is packed with a 2000 mAh battery. Few inbuilt applications on the phone are BBM, hike, Spuul, Kingsoft Office, M!Security, M!Unlock, M!Live and Game-hub. The device supports one Micro SIM and other standard SIM size: Dual SIM.

The series of launches continue for Micromax with the new Canvas Fun 2 (A74), which is now available online. The new A74 has been launched less than a week after the unveiling of the Canvas Fun A76. The phone is currently on e-commerce websites at Rs 7,749.

Specs of the Micromax Canvas Fun 2 (A74) include a 4.5 inch Full Capacitive Touchscreen smartphone is measured at 133 mm X 67 mm X 10.1 mm, with a FWVGA resolution of 480 x 854 Pixels.

The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and has 512MB RAM. This dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone has an internal storage of 1.25GB and it is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The budgeted Canvas Fun 2 (A74) sports a 5.0-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) secondary camera on the front. Also running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the Micromax Canvas Fun 2 (A74) packs in a 1500 mAh, 3.7V Li-Polymer battery which is said to give 5 hours of talktime and 155 hours of standby time.

Also the smartphone offers features like Wi-Fi, WAP, GPRS, WLAN and Wi-Fi Hot Spot for the connectivity. The other Micromax Canvas Fun (A76), which was launched earlier this week is trailing at a price of Rs 8,499.
